So I started up a Dell support chat so I can get my warranty reinstated and These mothaF&$^#@* want $428.. $497 for complete care

And this is for one year... !!!

Edit.. $328 for mail in service.. plz, so they can lose my machine

Is there anyway I can haggle at least a year of complete care for $200-$300 ?

Wow, that sounds like a total rip. I got two years on a inspiron for $249 a little while back. For what they want for only a year warranty...you could almost buy another comp.

I've never tried to haggle with them on the warranty but I wish you the best of luck in getting that down some.

Cost me $550 for 5yr basic @home service for 5 yrs. The other shorter offers were alot more costly on my end. Around 300 for 2 yrs of basic warranty (@home), so I just went w/ the best bang for the buck they gave me.

You might want to drop the complete care.
