    So,why do they sell us some poor panel when other are much better but remain simliar cost?

    I just changed my xps 14 screen to LP140WD1-TLA for $82

    What I found out is, the original screen is selling for $79 from other retailer.
    It's quite questionable for me when they cost abou the same if buy from retailers.

    :eek: :eek: , why couldn't dell offer some better screen w/o overpriced?

    or does dell buy those cheap panel much cheaper (like $30 or $40 ) in bulk?

    Whatever works and is cheapest unless you pay for a higher end panel. How unfortunate they have such poor quality screens for a high end consumer model, I think I'll stick with business from now on..
