    These problems are probably related.

When I turn it on if the lid is bent past 90 degrees the screen won't turn on, i have to move it forward, then it come on, then I can move it back past 90 degrees and it will stay on  Same thing when I take it out of standby

FN UP/DOWN don't change the screen brightness. The onscreen meter shows the brightness going up or down but it doesnt change the brightnetss UNLESS i tilt the screen forward and then back

The fan stays on almost full blast when on Power Saver and Balanceed. When I put it on High performance the fan shuts off until Hybrid SLI heats it up a'lot.

Hybrid SLI has always been a disaster. When enabled games run worse than when disabled. I think this is how all 1340's are though

I have updated the bios to A14(latest) Using Windows 7 ULT 64bit.

I've replaced the thermal paste and cleaned it all up. I checked the screen cables, they are not severed. I'm not under warranty, dell wanted to charge $400 to upgrade it :D It's hardly worth $400 :p

    Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
