As for Xirurg said,
some of card are defective, but as i know, defective cards were made in Q1-Q2 (winter-spring)so the chance of him having one is ~20%
as far my laptop is concerned i booked it on 18 july 2008 and it arrived by 23 july. does this period belongs to Q1-Q2.
as far forte said, most all of us are using the same gpu, inspite of faulty, but no one is for sure, also never reported any failures around. n also more ppl are booking the same laptop around, also dell in announcing new sales coupons regarding T8100 series in the xps M1530. why they are sellin the same gpu if they have problem.
my temperature hit around 90c while playing call of duty n also have heating issue, since im covered with one year premium warranty, shall i keep this laptop n cancel my return orders n its 15 days old now? shall i call tech support again regarding the issue of heating? so let em fix, or Replace ma laptop with new one.
another question is today i called up dell team n explained the problem, i also asked for refund, but hes not processed ma returns yet,n also i said no when the tech support said hes sending the service rep to ma house, should i call him again n let him check and fix? shall i keep this laptop inspite of gpu problem so that wen problem comes i can call dell to fix it up.
does ma laptop last long for a year, till ma warranty is covered? if it last long for a year it d be ok for me.
now i really feelin sad coz of im loosing such a good laptop, just for the gpu issue, i have one year premium warranty covered by it.
im sorry for posting such, coz im really worried, i have took loan from ma bank in buyin this, so now feel very sad in returning,
if i get refund, i can pay back to bank, i will lose laptop, if i keep this most say gpu will fail in a month or few months around, but no one is not sure.
what i can do now? i cant wait for new laptop here in india coz most take over 3-4 months for new laptop to launch here in india.
im sorry for keep posting about ma thinking, im worried thou?
