    I remember having an option to get one of those add-on's by the pci slot (I think that's what the slot on the left side right?)

    Something around $30? I need to hook it up with my home theater, which has optical input, hdmi, and aux.

    For the Creative Express card version, there is a separate addon module to make it into 5.1 .
