    Hi

My girlfriend just found out that my xps m1530 has some static energy on the metallic surface when connected to the wall outlet, not when using the battery.

anyone has the same problem or should I call DELL ?

    Thanks in advance.

check for proper earthing, i have no issue regarding the static energy.
i guess its due to improper earthing.
