    Could anyone please confirm me the brand of ram being shipped along with laptop the 6 gig version, I suspect the ram has been replaced by a service station after I had given it for service
    Mine currently have
    -Nanya ram 4gB
    -Hynix 2gB

    Nobody knows the companies used, because Dell doesn't specify. They intentionally dont do that, to give them the freedom to order RAM from any supplier that has the right pricing and quantity they want.

    Both Nanya and Hynix are major RAM manufacturers that produce enough quantity, that it would make sense for Dell to buy them. So you are fine.
