I am always curious of how to do this. I know that I need to get separate 3.5mm jacks but my home theater system that I hooked up only has one AUX in input.

Is there some kind of splitter that I must purchase or do I have to have a special system?

If there is an instruction of hooking up a 5.1 home theater with the 3 audio ports, please refer me to it. Thanks

So far I have used one male to male 3.5mm cable from AUX input and one of the headphone jacks. The stock sound software detects it as "headphone." I do hear some 5.1 difference when I select 5.1 option from DVDs

If nothing works I might just consider getting one of those USB Creative sound blaster for 5.1
