    Stripping M1530

    Hi,

    Im stripping my M1530, it's out or warrenty and im gettin GPU temps of 108C.

    I have got a guide to so put some AS5 on, so thats no problem. I cant find on how to clean all the vents, etc.

    Anyone have any tips?

    Use the service manual.

    edit: Wait a sec.. your computer has a panel on the bottom which basically has access to the GPU. Doesn't look as difficult as it was with my older dell laptops.

    Yeah, this should be pretty straightforward on an M1530. Just pull out the heatsink and blast some compressed air through it. You can blast some compressed air through the vent in the back as well. There are some grates on the bottom cover through which air enters the machine, but these are most likely free of any dust.

    Isn't the GPU soldered to the motherboard?
