    Documentation

Link to 1557 Service Manual off the EU dell site...it will tell you how to dismantle and reassemble as a kettle, which seems more appropriate given the recent change in my thermo position.

I loved this laptop, but I have ended up getting burnt. Excuse the phrase...switches off through over-heating repeatedly over the day...even after sitting idle for an age, it finds a way to overheat. Plus I have an SSD and the larger battery, all things that should have helped the situation. But anyway...don't mean to steal your thread!...it's easy to open, just look at the SM.

    Cheers,
