    hey im looking now for a xps 13'' and i dont know what taken between the 2.53 p8700 or the 2.66 p8800 i saw a couple of benchmark but it doesnt mean anything to me ...
    can somebody help me ?

    and i want to know if the Nvidia G210 M is good enough to play recent games ?

    p8800 and p8700 are not that different. They are pretty similar. If you don't run cpu intense program, then choose the p8700. Also, can you define "recent games"? list them so we can give you better details

    what do you mean by cpu intense program ?

    and for the game..i dont want to say crysis because its very heavy but it could be a good exemple...

    CPU intense program are like compressing big files often or computer-aide design. My laptop can play devil may cry 4 with all super high setting..no lags.

    good i will use my xps for chatting,facebook, mail, photoshop cs4,itunes (always) and games so good to know ill take the 2.66 thank you

    If there's a significant cost difference between the P8700 and P8800, I wouldn't take the latter. All you're getting is a measly 133MHz of clock speed; it's not something you'll notice at all in practice, and possibly hard-pressed to notice in benchmarks. Even in games, you're going to be far more limited by the G210M than the P8700. But y'know, if it's like a $5 upgrade... why not.

    There won't be a noticeable performance in 8800 compared with 8700. Just take the 8700 to save some extra bucks for a couple of drinks =D
