I got my new Dell 2 days ago, and the first thing i did was to update BIOS and do a clean install of windows. Everything works perfect on it - no freezes, no BSOD and it dosen't get very hot at all.
Specs:
P8600 2.4 Ghz / 4GB DDR3 Ram / 320GB Free Fall Sensor (7200RPM) HDD / 13.3 WLED LCD (1280x800) / 256mb GeForce 9500M / BT / Vista Home Premium SP1 (64 BIT) / 6 Cell Battery
After I installed windows, I downloaded all my drivers/apps from Dells website and installed them in the right order. The only problem I got is, that I can't find any facial recognition software on the computer. Shouldn't I be able to log on to windows without using a password with facial recognition?

That's not built into Windows. It's a separate application.
Check the Dell software download site. -

I'm curious about this exact same thing. There isn't any software on dell for the facial recognition, that i can find...
However there is something wrong with my webcam. One day it dropped off the device manager and the drivers cannot detect its presents so I'll be calling dell soon
