I'm using a Studio XPS 13 with Windows 7 professional 64-bit. I just installed the OS clean along with drivers, and have recently seen that whenever I try to stream audio or video from the internet the program that is trying to stream the information crashes. I have tried going to websites like hulu, youtube, and last.fm with both IE and firefox; everytime I try to load a video the program becomes non-responsive and I have to force shut it down and restart the program. This also happens whenever I try to webcam using MSN, gTalk, skype, and oovoo. However, playing audio and video directly from my computer such as in iTunes works fine.
the backup extension "FEBE" in firefox also causes crashes whenever it tries to create a backup file. I am assuming this is due to a related upload streaming issue, but I dont' know enough about the FEBE add-on to make any conclusions.
the only reason I can think of behind these issues is that there is either a problem with a driver I have installed, or I am missing a critical driver that has something to do with streaming information from the internet. Has anyone else had this problem? What can I do to correct it? Hoping for something less than clean install!![]()

Do you have any external displays attached? Are you using Performance mode or Balanced/Power Saving (I think it could be something related to Hybrid SLI).
Didn't test Spotify or streaming audio to see if it's a general or video only problem.
