    Got my new laptop today.

Things seem good but I have one immediate concern.

Anybody know why my CPU utilization on one of my processors is pinned at almost 100% by IDT PC Audio out of the box?

Is IDT PC Audio the process that is taking 100%?

If so, End it, and see if you have any problems.

If not, go into task manager and look to see what process is taking all of this power.

Out of the box with only Firefox installed,

Yes that process is running one of my two Cores at 100% meaning my overall processor utilization is at least 55-60 when sitting idle.

I want to know if anybody else is seeing the same with this process on their sXPS 13.

Had the same problem. I just reinstalled the IDT Audio driver and the problem was gone.

Yep that seems to have fixed it for me.
