    I just sold my m1530 on ebay cause i found this really nice deal for an SXPS13 on ebay which turned out to be a scam , now im low on cash so i was wondering when will there be price drops on the SXPS13 or 16 ?

    And would anyone happen to know when dell is going to release new XPS models ?

    well they just released a new pricing model on the xps 16 with the new 15.6 inch screens. so probably no price cuts for some time.

    There prolly will not be any new XPS model for a while...Since Dell still considers the SXPS 1340/1640 still *fresh* (and its the replacement for the XPS 1330/1530 line).

    Yet, you never know with Dell!! :p :rolleyes: :D

    And, price drops..right now..there were some good 25% off deals on the 1340/1640..not sure if its still going on or not though!

    No, i sold my 1530 on craigs for $500 because my $600 offer for an SXPS13 got accepted, i waited for the money to be transfered into my account, then i found out the SXPS13 was a scam. And here i am today...without a laptop :(

    So you didn't win the auction on ebay? If you did contact ebay. Also you should contact the bank you transferred the money into. They can reverse the transaction.
