Hey, my girlfriend's Studio XPS 13 seems to have pretty bad wireless capability..it seems to only get 1 bar when it should get 4/5 (What my laptop with a Broadcom card gets sitting right next to her laptop) and sometimes it gets no bars. She is currently running Windows 7 with the latest drivers from Dell's website. Anyone heard of this/have an solutions? I mean, my cell phone gets better wi-fi than her laptop which I think is ridiculous. The card is the Dell 1510 wireless mini card. Thanks.

if you reinstall the new drivers from dell website doesn't work then it must be the antenna's problem. You can open up the laptop to see if the wireless card seated correctly. And, you need to check that the two antenna are plug in correctly. If everything is ok then the antenna inside the monitor is faulty. However, I don't think any dell rep will listen to you. you need to come up something that your LCD is faulty then they will replace it.

I just updated the Dell drivers from the website when I did the Win7 install and it still isn't working. If I call Dell will they ship me the part or will they come replace it? I don't really trust their techs..

You can request to replace the parts by yourself or they will just simply come to your house and replace it.
