Hi, this is my first post. I just recvd my first Dell laptop Studio 1555 last week I am still within the 21 day return policy. I set up my home networking with no problem. The only issue I have is I feel the 1555 is big and heavy. It seems heavy just to move it from room to room, I put it on a scale and it seems to weight about 6 or 7 lbs. I thought it was going to be a little more mobile and lighter. I do love the backlit keyboard feature and really impressed with everything else including the high def 720p display.

It I were to send it back and get the Studio XPS 13.3, for those that have this model, Do you think I would feel that much of a difference in weight and bulkiness. I really wanted to keep the backlit keyboard and from what I know the studio xps 13 is the only model of the 13 inchers that have this feature.

Any help would be greatly appreciated regarding size, weight and carrying around of the 13.3 vs the studio 15

Please don't jump on me that I didn't do my research cause it actually took my several years to decide to buy a laptop and this forum has helped me so much so I finally registered to be apart here. Thanks

The 1340 is probably the thing for you ;)
It feels compact and very portable. The backlit keyboard and touchpad is very nice also ;)
You can call dell and ask for a return or credit.
