My idle temperature right now is 47 degrees Celsius on the CPU and 51 degrees on the GPU. The hottest my GPUs have ever been was 86 degrees Celsius (before a self-configured Nvidia warning came up to warn me) though at this time it was not on a desk.

Mine Idles at 36C and peaks at 68 for CPU. My GPU's are a bit higher. Look up the undervolting guide, it works wonders.
