well my wife finally got dell to give us a refund on this computer after almost 4 hours of being on the phone with them. im sure she will post up her experience later.
anywho i decided i would push this system once more to see what it has if it was properly cooled. so i used a ice pack on top of the keyboard which actually kept the temps really really low. nether cpu or gpu would go over 58C at full load when i was overclocked no matter how long i benching or in a game.
i was able to run the HD3670 at 810/981
here is the results

An ice pack, huh? That's really ghetto. And probably the best idea I've heard in awhile.

Nice GPU clocks. I have recently purchased an XPS Studio 16, and just downloaded and ran AMD GPU Clock tool.
I can't seem to alter the clocks, options on the left are greyed out, and when I enter a new value and try to set the clocks, they just revert.
Can you advise me what I need to do to get this working?
Cheers, -
i managed to get 4400 on default at 1280x1024.
i cba to Oc.
also its greyed out usually if you mod your offical ati drivers. by using stuff like mobility modder. -
How does the ati 3670 fare compared to the nvidia 9600m gt?
