Hi, I just got my refurbished sxps 16 and I'm having problems with my wireless connection. I have the Intel Wifi 5300, but my speed only gets 11 Mbps and it is very slow. I'm not very good with computers so I would like a step by step process to fix this.

Also when I checked the Broadcom Ethernet card, I have a 10/100Mbit card instead of a 10/100/1000Mbit card? Is this what everyone has?

I also have a problem with the brightness of the screen. It seems like every time I log in, the brightness goes back to 100% and I always have to lower it again. Is there a way to save the brightness for my screen?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey

I can help you with the Screen Issue.
You can press and hold F2 when your turn on your Notebook, this will get you to the Bios.
There you can change the value for the Screen Brightness when your notebook is plugged in and unplugged.

    Cheers

Yeah I tried going in to Bios and changing the brightness but when I turn the computer off and turn it back on the brightness goes back all the way up for some reason. All you do is go to the advanced column and change the brightness right and save it?
