    Hi all,

Recently during gaming sessions on my Dell Studio XPS 1640, the performance would be fine but then suddenly drop to a crawl out of the blue.

Fans going full-blast, leads me to believe that this could be due to overheating. However it hasn't done this before on the same games.

The general performance of the laptop after this occurs also seems hindered.

Does it sound like an overheating problem? And is there anything I can do to stop it?

    Cheers,
    Jordan.
