    I slipstreamed the SCSI driver to get XP installed, but now I find that none of the drivers claim compatibility with XP. I found these threads, but they only solve the video driver issue for the 3xxx series. I tried manually editing files, like Mobility Modder does, to point the installation program to the proper driver for my video card, but that failed to achieve anything.

    Help, please!

    Hold the phone, peoples, I think I got it...

    After installing the drivers, I did the following:
    -Open ATI>Support>9-7_xp32...>XP_INF>CX_84680; below [ATI.mfg.NTx86], paste the following:
    Code:
    "ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4670" = ati2mtag_M76, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9490
    -Open ATI>Support>9-7_xp32...>CX_84680 AND INSTALL, of the same folder; below [WINXP], on the tail end of the following line:
    Code:
    R6=DriverPath_R6,0x9441...etc
    paste the following:
    Code:
    ,0x9490
    Now, the automated installer will NOT work. However, I went to my device manager and opted to pick the driver manually. Upon using the folders inf files that we just modified, it allows you to pick ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 4670 as the final driver file and it will install the driver! Reboot and you're ready to rock and/or roll. :) Now, everyone say it with me... screw you, Dell, for not giving ATI or Nvidia permission to distribute the driver files so that we wouldn't have to go through this .
