    Hello,

I'm owning a XPS 16 for several years now. I'm not using it very much, but there is something that's bugging me out, on the left side of my LCD screen the aluminium cover over the hinge is sticking out (see attached image). So I'm wondering if there is a way to remove the whole aluminium cover part and to bend it a little back into place and reattach it. I read somewhere that it's only fixated with some kind of adhesive tape.

So maybe someone experienced the same and has a good idea how to fix it, I don't know what's causing this behavior but I'd really like to fix it.

Thank you very much in advance for your ideas!
    Greetings

It's held on by tape and glue... in theory if you had the right tape and glue you could get it off, bend it, and re-attach it nicely, but in practice I've never seen it go well.
