    Hi,

Has anyone successfully managed to calibrate the LED backlit screen with an Eye-One display 2 calibration tool? If so can you please met me know how. Everytime I try the resulting profile makes the colours too vivid and contrasty.

    Thanks.

Thanks speedline. However I need to figure outhow to do as I need to calibrate my monitor on a regular basis.

Currently my lappy is set up to use the generic display drivers. How do I identify what screen is on my XPS studio and are there better drivers?

Interesting. After doing some searches on Google, I found a post that says that correction curves - which are built into the calibration software suite to come by known shortcomings of the calibration hardware - can result in such mismatching colors. The imatch software of the 1i Display in particular is noted as a reason for oversaturated colors when calibrating wide gamut displays.
