Checked that setting it says Sleep. I know this is a common problem with vista because my 1330 did it Anyone know why?

"1. Click Start , type power options in the Start Search box, and then click
Power Options in the Programs list.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type
    your password or click Continue.

    2. Under the selected power plan, click Change plan settings.

    3. Click Change advanced power settings.

    4. In the Power Options dialog box, expand USB settings, and then expand
    USB selective suspend setting.

    5. click Enabled in the On battery list.

    6. and then click OK."

I found this via google. Not sure if it will help. Number five will probably be on outlet and not battery.

Finally fixed it. It has to due with a bug in vista. It changes a setting that won't let it go to sleep with media sharing enabled. to fix this try this:

You may have enabled "Away Mode" in place of Sleep. To check this, go to the Power Options, click "Change plan settings" under your currently selected plan, click "Change advanced power settings", scroll to the bottom and expand "Multimedia Settings" and "When sharing media" and change the setting to "Allow the computer to sleep" if it isn't already set to that. If it is, scroll up and expand "Sleep" then "Allow hybrid sleep" and make sure it's set to "On".
