So I am digging 64bit Vista on my M1530. Which says alot, because I hate Vista (I am dual booting XP 32bit and Vista 64bit right now). But Vista 64 just seems so much snappier/quicker if you will.

But with that being said does anyone have a recommendation on which Nvidia drivers work best? So far I have tried the tried and true 174.74's, which seem to work well. But act a little funky @ shutdown. Where you see the shutdown screen, goes back to desktop, then back to the shutdown screen. I also tried 174.31's, tried to see had them pre-packaged like they do for 32bit OS'es. But no luck, so I tried the ones off of LV2G. While is solved the shutdown issue, it does give me some other strange issues in games (For the most part TF2).

So any suggestions would be great!

I tried 174.74 but now I am using 167.55. I don't do OC or gaming much and the driver seems to be very stable.

177.35 is working quite well for me. Been meaning to try 175.19, but can't really be bothered as from what most people posted there wasn't a huge difference compared to 177.35.

Thanks for the responses. I think I am going to try the 177.35's. I tried 175.12's and I would get driver failures playing games/watching moves.

So I have tried the 177.35's, and it has issues. When Alt-tabbing out of TF2, it would kick my resolution down to 1024x768 (even though I am playing TF2 @ a higher resolution). Also I took a performance hit.

    I guess I will try a 169 series.
