    Just turned on laptop this evening and found my screen to be at max brightness whatever i do it wont decrease quickset latest one is installed and its at its minimum how do i solve this?

    Possible faulty screen?

    Part number any one for the RGB Screen?

    Ambient light sensor disabled? If you try to adjust the screen brightness in BIOS, does it still not work? Did this suddenly start happening or is this like a new-purchase but used-laptop?

    Just took battery out and discharged unit now working back to normal.
