Hi All,
I have the following 3 drives on my Dell XPS 1530 notebook as it came from Dell :
1)Drive C :Which has all the Windows files
2)Drive D: Which has other files
3)Drive E :Which has the Recovery files
So far I have enabled System Restore only for Drive C.
Is it advisable to enable System restore for Drives D and E also ?
Im particularly asking for Drive D as system restore eats lots of space if it is enabled in Drive D.
Are there any risks if system restore is not enabled for Drive D and E ?
I have another query too which is :Is it possible to "select" which system restore points are to be deleted and which should remain intact ?
Regards,

i personally dont use system restore, for a few reasons..
its a waste of space.
doesnt always get rid of viruses
slows down system (this is agurable but i noticed a improvement personally) -

Yeah, System Restore has saved my butt on more than one occasion, when my OS got botched due to reasons unrelated to viruses or malware. However, the OP doesn't seem to be trying to start a debate about whether system restore is useful at all or not.
Anyway, I'm not 100% sure, but I think you'll be fine leaving system restore on for Drive C only.
