Not many applications can even utilize the 3MB cache, let alone the 6MB cache.

In all honesty, get the T8300 and an LED LCD screen.

Unless you have money to burn, give it to me or get the T9300 and LED LCD.

    Hello Polarix

sorry .. i wanted to write a pm .. but i guess it isnt able in this forum..

What i wanted to ask is how long does your battery last?
I'm not sure if the m1530 is a good choice for me .. and because of the many configuration options i'm really unsure if the battery has enough power for me ...

I hope you read this message..

and if somebody else has a m1530 with a similar configuration i would be happy if he could post his experiences too

    THX!!!
.. and sorry for the bad english .. i did my best...^^

I upgraded from a T7250 to T9300 and saw ZERO performance increase, so I highly doubt you will notice anything from a T8300.

i upgraded from t7500 to t9300, 3gb of ram to 4gb, added 1 gb tcm, 200 gb momentus with vista ultimate x32 to 320 WD scorpio black with vista ultimate x64. Now i have to chain this beast to my lap. I would get the x9000 and ssd but my wife threatens intervention.

I went for the T8300 processor myself. The extra $$ for the top of range is never worth it, in my opinion.

If I were you, I would consider using the extra money to buy a 9-cell battery.
Benefits include longer battery life and better airflow/cooling.

Or you could just save your money.
    :)

    Regards
