    Hi,
currently have an m1330 and wanted to put a t9600 in,
im wondering first of all, is it compatible, as the fsb is 1066?
and secondly, would i be able to use the existing heatsink and fan (albeit with a clean up and new thermal paste)

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

Sorry, a Montevina processor will not be compatible with your notebook. The T9500 is the highest you can go.

but can i drop the 9500 straight in apart from the inevitable tidy up? or do i need to buy it with the heatsink and fan?

    Thanks

You can re-use your current heatsink and fan, however, you will need to replace the thermal compound.

    thanks
may as well tidy up the gpu while i've got everything open.
should finally be able to hammer the laptop without a cooling deck (i've got a t7500 at the mo)
