    Tech Questions about DELL XPS M1530

    Hi, just purchased my first Dell Laptop, Can't wait for it to arrive. Had a little bit of trouble understanding the Dell sales rep. So here are my questions for those that have purchased this model.

    1. Can the media card reader, read sdhc cards?
    2. Does the 15.4" Black WUXGA 1920x 1200 LCD come with a back light?
    3. Is it possible to install more than 1 hard drive in the unit?
    4. What is the max battery life you can get out of the 9 cell battery
    5. Can this unit be expanded to 8gb memory?
    6. What bios does this unit come with?
    7. What is the quality like for the 2megapixel camera (post pictures if you can)
    8. Can the express card for the Dell 5720 EVDO be swapped out for an ssd drive?

    4. 3.5 Hours in high performance mode, maybe more in battery saver, of course 3.5 hours without doing much multimedia-like things or games...

    6. Now it ships with either A08 or 09, not sure, Either way you can update it via Dell.com (A12 being the latest)
    7. Its kinda so-so quality, its 2MP.

    2. Really? All LCDs have backlights. Otherwise you can't see anything.
    8. As long as your SSD uses the expresscard slot.

    7. The 2-megapixel webcam is a lot better than most (if not all) current notebooks on the market which have 1.3 megapixel webcams. Movements are not as laggy and slow as 1.3 megapixel webcams and I'd have to say it does the job for quick video chats and taking occasional still-shots...
