Hi, ive got a xps m1530, with a t5550 processor.
    While gaming im reaching 90°C.

Should i contact dell ? I bought this laptop on july 2008 without any extra warranties and i think that i have 1 year only of warranty that comes for free right?. The downside is that im in south america so it might take a while...

Can i contact them and a get a replace?

Whatabout undervolting? is it safe? any guide to do it?

    thanks for your help.

90C under load is not terribly unusual for a GPU. It's pretty much known that the thermal pad between the M1530/M1330 GPU and the thermal solution is pretty crappy. I'd try blowing out your vents or something before calling up Dell, specially since you've had the machine for a while.

Undervolting the CPU WILL reduce some stress on the thermal solution, so that may help lower the GPU temps as well.

Pls contact Dell. Don't wait.. You don't pay for the machine to do undervolt.
