Overclock your graphic card. You will get better performance.
-
No bro...
First of all, update your drivers, your laptop with Optimus, right? maybe that's why. After updating the drivers, you can use MSI Afterburnet and Overclock the GPU again. -
can u read??
i wrote i have the NEW beta driver...
i tryd with the old 260,... and with the new 275.. driver....
-.- -
Oh, sorry didn't see it. What about other games?

I have GT 445M which is supposed to be slower than 555M at factory settings. I overclocked it and I'm running it at 1600x900 all low graphic options/disabled, with average 27fps. I'm sure you can do better than me if you OC it. Btw, I'm using the latest beta driver as well.

other game:
BFBC2 all maxed out NO AA, full hd, 55 fps...
witcher 2 :
full HD, all at low, the first steps in game ... 18- 20 fps..
not playable...
OC brings .. 4-6 fps... but i dont want to play like this..24 fps .. -.-
hmm maybe i just dont play this game

This game has really high requirements. Some people with dual GPUs on their desktop can only get 30+ fps at max settings.
Don't expect much with a mid range gpu.
I suggest you play at 1600*900, all low and max overclock. Should be able hit 30fps. -
Maybe you should try a WHQL driver instead of a crappy Beta one, or check out Guru3D for other drivers. Try them all, what do you have to lose.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
GT 555M isn't a real gaming card, it still gets smoked by a 260M which is 3 year old tech.
Witcher 2 has some pretty high requirements, desktop 8800GT (equivalent to a 260M) but that would be minimum and probably wants higher. -
I second that, XPS machines are a breed of portable + Some gaming performance, but dont expect wonders! And even with a good card, witcher 2 is a tremendously heavy game, its like the Crysis of the year... just not playable unless you have the best of the best...

how do you overclock a 445M? never seen something like that...
The witcher 2 XPS 17, 800x600... all LOW... 30 fps... OMG
