Hi guys, its been a while since Ive posted on here.
Anyway, today I turned on my M1530 as usual, and after it logged into windows, the screen went black, then returned to the desktop and reported an error with my graphics cards driver (8600M GT with the latest driver from Nvidia 195.62 or something similar). This process then repeated and I was confronted with the dreaded BSOD!!
So thinking something had corrupted with the driver, i booted into safe mode and began reinstalling the drivers again.
This all went fine, up until tonight when I was unwittingly enjoying some call of duty and this happened...

The screen juddered for about a second then froze on that image.
I tried to alt-tab out of it etc. But to no avail, so I did a hard reset of the system, to whish end i was presented with another BSOD! Here is a snap of it.

Now I have read a lot on these forums (very helpful and great community) about the problems the M1530 has with the GPU dying... So, I have already come to the conclusion that this artefacting is a sign of that. What are your opinions on this matter guys?
Luckily I am still within warranty so getting it repaired will not be a problem, as long as Dell still make the replacement parts for this model?
Thanks in advance for any opinions and replies.

Check the GPU's temperature with hwmon

Thanks for the speedy reply. I didn’t check it on this instance, but I check it regularly whilst gaming (last time I checked was a few days ago) and it doesn’t go over 75C.

I would say its a good indicator. I saw the exact same behavior on the M1730 before the GPUs fried.
To confirm, output to an external display and see if you see the same artifacting.
Think my GPU is dying... need confirmation
