I can sit in my bed playing Crysis running the system at 3.0GHz without the fans starting.. They do tend to set in after a while though but im surprised as how silent this monster is :)

I have no 3D Mark score.

Really - it doesn't get hot in bed? Also is it easy to have in your lap? Or would you need to set it on a surface because of the size + heat?

The systm isnt very loud - not as loud as I had imagined. When teh fans kick in at full speed, which isnt very often TBH, then yes its loud, but most of the time it isnt.

The laptop does get pretty hot - which is expected, being the beast that it is!! It doesnt overheat (unless you're OC'ing), but a notebook cooler to prolong the life of the components is recommended ;)
