    Hello.

Forgive me if this is a easily solved problem, but I am not at all tech savvy. I have owned the 1530 for a little over a year now and I've run into a problem with my system. While using my computer the power ran out and when I turned it on I found that it wouldn't fully start. It would pass the Dell screen and would reach the Window Error Recovery screen. Regardless of what option I choose it goes to the green bar and it just moves indefinitely. I was hoping that someone would be able to provide a solution on how to fix this. Any responses are greatly appreciated.

How long have you left it? Sometimes if windows has not closed down properly it performs a self check and this can take some time. If after 30mins-1hr you still get no-where then you could try putting in the recovery disc and seeing if a restore / fix will help. Hopefully you have backed up your data regularly !!

Patience is your key. I bet your laptop is doing chkdsk operation to check if there are any errors in your HDD. Depending on how big is your HDD, it will take a while. Just leave it and dont keep on rebooting it, else you gonna just damage your HDD or your data on it..
