I remember seeing somewhere in a forum, not sure if this one, a registry tweak to handle the problem with the low volume output through the speakers the M1530 came with originally. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? I can't find it to save my life and I need it.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what your referring to but I know that laptopvideo2go has a sound driver for laptops with sigmatel, im not sure if this would fix your problem.

No, not it. It's a registry tweak.

Hmmm is this changed in windows 7? If not do you know where it is? Because there is no Scrunch folder....

Well if you read the article there might not be a Scrunch folder in Vista either, in which case it needs to be created.

However the reason why I was looking for this is because when booting from my 7 partition, the volume seemed to be dimmer than from the vista one, so I wanted to try it. I exported the key to the 7 partition and didn't seem to find a noticeable difference, but YMMW. Try it and let me know if you see a difference.
