    It's a Dell. Even though that wasn't your question. What you were trying to ask is how you can find out the brand of the monitor. In which case, you can't until you order.

    I actually ordered an XPS M1530.

    I read stories about WXGA+ problems.This is the reason why i'm asking those questions.
