This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I got a strange situation where a 2nd wifi connection would be handy. I'm not sure if throwing in a 2nd usb or mini pcie card would allow me to connect to another network. It seems fine in theory, but I wanted to see if anyone had any issues trying this before?

    l501x: with Intel i5, Nvidia420m, Intel wifi Link 1000 BGN.
