    Hi,

I am in the Uk and have been holding on for the last couple of weeks to but the XPS16.

The dell UK website does not seem to show options to select an internal blu-ray drive on any of the XPS 16 ranges. It also does not show an internal n range wi-fi card either on the Core i7.

    any idea why?

    cheers

They are having supply issues with the Bluray, I have heard it may be coming back in late Feb if you want to hold off and take a chance. However a rep told me that they werent planning on getting them in for a long time yet, so it could possibly be a couple of months.

Note: Reps arent always the most accurate and can say things just to get you off their back. Or so I have found.

As for the Wifi im not sure, maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

Hope I was of some help.

It seems with the switch to the i5 the wifi chipsets must have changed. If you look at the older PXXXX chips you can still get the Intel 5100/5300.
