    Hello,

I own a DELL XPS M1730 notebook which has 2 SATA ports.
I want to attach this adapter to a SATA port and then attach this eSATA flash drive to the adapter. Will it work, I mean will I be able to boot from it a as regular HDD an install an OS on it?

    Thank you in advance.

I don't see why this wouldn't work... but it will be slow. You will probably wear out the flash drive pretty fast, too.

It'll probably work, I remember seeing that one picture when I first started the internets, it was like 20 cable adapters hooked up to eachother from dvi ==> usb ==> ps/2 etc and it was over a foot long. I can't find the picture anymore but if that thing worked I don't see why this set up wouldn't

I remember seeing a picture like that too... and I also recall reading comments about it saying that it doesn't actually work.. it was just set up for the picture.
