I recently applied the graphics and sound patches from the dell support center for my m1330, as well as the A15 bios.

After applying those patches, my USB devices won't work after I unplug and replug them into the m1330; I have to restart the m1330 and wait a few minutes for startup before my USB devices (printers, mouse, hub, etc) start working again.

Anyone know a fix? I hate having to restart every time I unplug/replug my USB accessories to walk around the house with the m1330.

I can kind of relate as I've had the same issue with my M1330. Don't know if it's exactly the same problem, but there's times in which the OS would fail to recognize any USB devices connected to them. My solution was to unplug the power cord from the notebook and take out the battery for 10 minutes or so. This seems to reset the usb ports. The problem happened to me every now and then, but doing the above always solves it for me. There's times I just leave the battery out overnight with it unplugged, maybe once a week, so I never come across the problem at the worst possible times. Anyway, it's worth a shot trying that.
