I have Studio 16 xps with Intel Core2duo T9600 and that half multiplier 10.5x is killing me. I have searched all day trying to find some solution, but all i found is maybe i have to use CPUgenie instead of RMclock. I have tried RMclock but it gives me just 10x and i want to find some way to set it to 10.5x. Maybe someone who has T9600 cpu can share some methods? How they have undervolted T9600?

P.S i have successfully undervolted other laptop with T2390 cpu and it helped me a lot, it dropped from 70c to 58c and i like it, now i just need to do this to my T9600 :)

Hi, i have t9600 cpu also in xps 1640 , i did use rmclock lowered the voltage without knewledge(by thinking it would not harm the laptop) i lovered by 0.250v ,
before lowering i did the test with orthos cpu reached 80+ in afew munites, after lowering i did test again and cpu again reached the 80+ C in afew munites .
so please can you help me to reduce this voltage and reduce the head. what is the reducing values for multipliers ? also i can do that half multiplier setting with no problem, all i need is the voltage values for t9600 , Thanks.

I used RMclock and undervolted 10.5x multiplier from 1.1875v to 1.125v, but when i'm on idle sometimes i see that it jumps back to 1.1875v, and this is only on idle. I tried to use orthos and it works fine on 1.125v. Maybe i need to use some other program? P.S what other multiplier values can be set on this CPU?

    My 10.5x - 1.125v, 65C

I have T9500 and XPS M1530 and using this configuration for more than year ( I did test for every multiplier more than hour with orthos) , so maybe it will help to U:

my T9300 with top multiplier 12.5x goes with this configuration:
    - check IDA multiplier (13x)
    - uncheck "Engage IDA" in Advanced setting

and the result is stable max multiplier 12.5x ..no registry edit

All those steppings are useless. You need 2 steppings:
SLFM at lowest voltage at highest multiplier for idle and lightweight tasks
Highest multiplier at lowest voltage possible for load

One user recomend to put P-state transition method in to: direct
and FID/VID transition stabilization time in ti 50 and more
    Anybody know why?

It is just my own , but the SLFM is for 100MHZ the others are for 200MHZ (if I am not wrong!)

one last question, i uncheck Engage IDA in advanced settings, but when i restart my laptop,or just press the refresh button in RMclock, IDA is checked again. How to uncheck IDA and save it?
