This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Uninstalled all datasafe crap. Worth keeping the "recovery" partition?

    I deleted all the datasafe crap off my laptop. Does the recovery partition serve any purpose now that I uninstalled datasafe? Not sure if it should stay for the "f8?" recovery through the recovery console or not?

    Anyway I saw that you have wrote another thread with differenet issue, you could just put it there :D

    Anyway Recovery part is not worth keeping, format whole disk using linux live. Nothing in windows is worth recovering except your media files. If Windows goes down, just use linux to look up on the hard drive and copy files to external drive
