    Hi All,.

I am having Windows Vista on my Dell XPS 1530 laptop which came along with an inbuilt fingerprint reader and Upek Fingerprint Reader Software.

However,I have learnt that there is a security hole problem in the Upek Fingerprint Reader Software and here is a link about the same :

    http://blog.elcomsoft.com/2012/08/upek-fingerprint-readers-a-huge-security-hole/

So please let me know how to solve this problem as it is a big security risk ?

Secondly,Will this problem occur only if some one gets physical hold of the laptop or some one can take advantage of this security hole and hack "remotely" via the internet also ?

Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
