I have a XPS M1530, Intel Core 2 Duo, Merom, 1830 MHz, Front Side Bus 667 MHz, Level 2 Cache 2048 KB
and I was wondering if Intel Core 2 Duo, Merom, 2200 MHz, Front Side Bus 800 MHz, Level 1 Cache 128 KB, Level 2 Cache 4096 KB is a compatibil upgrade for my curent CPU.

It also has a 8600GT Nvidia GPU 256 MB, 2 Gb ram.

You can go to an X9000 or any 800 FSB Core 2 Duo. I wouldn't recommend it though, any Napa/Santa Rosa laptop (M1530 is a SR laptop) with an Nvidia chip is a ticking timebomb.
