Hi,

I've had a M1530 for about 2 years now and I want to upgrade it in the next 6 months, so does anyone have any suggestions what to upgrade to? Not necessarily a Dell, but that would be preferred.

I use my M1530 mainly for general use and games (20/80 split) so it needs to be pretty powerful.

My M1530 has the following main specs for reference:
C2D 2.5GHz
4GB RAM
8600GT 512MB

Games I play include:
Oblivion, Fallout3, X3:Terran Conflict, CoH, SupCom, Anno 1404

I paid about £800/US$1200 for the M1530, so I'm looking around the same price.

I looked at the m15x alienware, but the options are a little lacking in the GPU area and I have no idea which CPU to get!

Anyway, thanks for reading and any comments/suggestions would be very welcome.
