    Hi,
I bought a few months back an M1530 with the T7500 processor, and i noticed that new processors are available.
I want to know if it is possible to send my laptop in and have them upgrade the processor (i am under warranty, but without complete care) and if so, for what price.

    Thanks,
    SamRQ

no if you are past the 30 days you can't return it, you could buy a new cpu and install it yourself.

There is little to no benefit in upgrading the CPU, unless you are doing something that uses 100% of it.

You can ask for a tech to be sent out to replace it, I believe.

If you are past the 30 days since you bought it Dell only has to replace the part that is defective they will not let you upgrade anything unless they don't have stock on the part that needs replacing.
