Well, i have called Dell twice today, talking to their sales department (which i now hate :p).

They were not much help, pretty pushy and my question was not answered to well, so i come here hoping you guys/girls can answer my questions.

If i purchased a Dell XPS17 today, i received it in 2 week and used it for a month or two. The New XPS 17 comes out, and i want to upgrade to that, is it possible to send in the old XPS 17, and upgrade to the new XPS 17 and pay a difference?

Would i also be able to choose customizations on the new XPS that i want to upgrade to? Or no?

Hopefully it makes sense to all you. Any help is much appreciated ;)

^^You have 21 days from date of invoice (date it ships), to return it to Dell for a replacement (new) or refund.

If you are unsure, I would wait until you knew exactly what you wanted out of your lappy before ordering (or until the new lappy comes out).

Please see this: Returning Dell Products

If you want a new one, wait for the new one. If you don't like what the new one offers for whatever reason, the older ones should be cheaper on the outlet.

    I might just do that.

I hope the new ones will be released in Canada though same time as the U.S.
