    Sorry!! I should have mentioned it. I am looking for upgrade after purchase. I think Dell charges too much for ram and hard drive upgrade. Thanks.

    RAM and HD upgrade is no problem. you can do both in probably less than 10 mins even if you've never done it before.

    note, you cannot upgrade the optical drive, it is fixed so get what you want at time of purchase. you can upgrade to EVDO service if you get the AV communications package but no service initially by later adding a mini pci wwan card. if you don't get the av communications package, you cannot upgrade to evdo later on.
